    Week-end from Hell

    Bummer...Flubber....Mucnhies...Pizza  MISERY.......Nasty little words......and whatever you want to call it.  I got so discouraged from the last two weeks. I F*#@ed up on the week-end!Baring teeth  I did not exercise.  I ate off program...I totally what NUTS!  The only thing I did accomplish was I did do gardening and raking leaves  for alittle workout. Now, Monday, I look at myself and say WHY!  What the Hell was I  thinking?  Well, to tell you one,  I ain't getting on those scales!!Embarrassed I don't what to see if I did any damage.  (I know I may have).  Now that it is done.  Now in the past.  I am gonna start over.  I quess this is how one feels when going off the wagon per say.  This is my first step to admit I did wrong.  I do feel better.  So. here is Monday a new day, a new week, I"M GOING FORWARD!!! Thinking  Just wondering if this has ever happened to any of you guys out there?  I hope I'm not alone in this deceit.

    Biggest Loser Week 5/ Disappointing ARGH!

    What The F#$K  Baring teeth   Today was my weigh in , for week 5, and the FRICKEN scales did no move....NADADisappointed Damn, and I increased my workout.  Weights, Time etc.  I pushed myself really hard and stayed 100% to my diet and NOTHING, NADA!!  Crying What in caration is going on.  Last week I gained 1 lb.  This week I didn't loose nor gain. HELP! Should I reduce my exercise routine to 3-4 days a week instead of 5-6 days of week? I like to work out.  I can tell myself it is muscle gain, it really has to be becuase there is no way in HELL  that I have consumed 3500 or more extra calories.....OH my, maybe I didn't have enough calories..Thinking.I didn't really add them up...all I  know is everything I ate was extrememly low in calories.  This week I will be writing down every calories that goes in me.  Maybe that'll help.  I will do that.  I also will "Turn The Page" and finish what I started.  But, It is so disappointing when I am failing the last two weeks......Head Up! I'm gonna do this...I just got to.   I sure hope Erika has done better than I this week.  Erika just started her new job at the airport,so I believe she got alot of extra walking in here and there. I hope everyone else did better......I guess maybe next week, it'll be my week.   Funny but if I was on the BL show, sure enough I'd be the one goning home.....UGH!  Any suggestions please?

    Southern Tornados/ Survived them

    Just to let all know that we made it through the deadly tornadoes last night.   Total dead at count is 44.  It was a scary and deadly day/night.  The tonado took down a mall and a distrubition center.  Numerous homes etc.  It is an ugly site today.   This weather has gotten really bad as of lately.  But I'm alive and so is my family and friends.

    Wacky Wednesday/Biggest Loser's

    Whatever you want to call it.  Hump day. middle of the week, well I call it Wacky Wednesday.  I'm halfway through this week .  It is week 5 for my partner, Erika, and I.  I am proud to say that I have been 100% true to my diet and exercise. I actually added to my exercise workout, increased weights ,when doing the Power Sculpt.
    My great Husband has joined in my  exercise routine, which is wonderful, because he usually just ran on the treadmill 3x week.  Now he is working out and running up to 5 days a week.  I got him into working out with the Biggest Loser DVD.  using both the Cardio with the Power Sculpt.  We both use the Nordiac Trac, it has these wonderful ifit programs.  I also use the recumbemnt bike and ellip.  I thank him daily, because on the days I just don't feel like doing them, He DOES and vice versa.  I just need those pushes.  With that siad, I hope to see those scales move in a downward position this week.  My congrats to all who have all weighed in this week( those who have lost or stayed the same) bigger KUDOS with your lost, and those who will still yet to weigh in.  My weigh in is on Friday.  Until then   Chow!!

    Biggest Loser's at Superbowl Party

    Caution Ahead!! We all know what Sunday brings.....Loads of FOOD,DRINKS, and FUN. We must be careful to make the right choices when watching the BIG GAME! It might be great fun to share low caloric foods here with all.  I personally like baked BBQ ings instead of frying them.  Have celery, carrots, califlower,pickles for munchies.  Stay away from chips (unless maybe baked)  portion control.  And remember at half time.  Get down and give 20 puch ups, run in place, go out and throw a football.  Just get up and do something.  If having  beer, wine etc.  remember to count those calories, they add up.   5 oz. wine  120 calories..... 12 oz. Miller lite is 96 calories.  alternate drink witth water to keep you hydrated.   Oh and gang......Go Patroits!

    Biggest Loser Challenge Week4

    Glumly, miserable, Cloudy, describes the weather on a nasty day!  Well today is not a good day, it's down right NASTY!!  Today is weigh in day and I GAINED a Frincken pound.  How can that be?Crying  I was 100% to my diet program and I did all of my exercising. Drank all of my water  I did not comsume an extra 3500 calories to add a FRICKEN pound.  No, I am not happy. Baring teeth  I am going to take my famous quote and "TURN THE PAGE" go forward and finish what I started. I will continue to work hard and hopefully then those damn scales will move more next week.  Hell, I feel like I lost!  My clothes tell me that.  But, I guess the clothes and the scales are not talking to each other.Disappointed  I hope that my partner/daughter had a lost this week.  It is so disappointing when you don't lose and you've done everything you're suppose to. So how has everyone done this week?

    Long Distance Partner Biggest Loser

    I beleive this challenge is really hard when you have a partner that lives in another state than you.  It becomes frustrating.  Has anyone else having this same problem?  My daughter/partner lives in another state and although I call her daily to see if she has exercised or not, how she is doing etc.  It seems like it is so hard on her. I keep encouraging her but I feel that is not enough.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Tomorrow is weigh in day for us.  I don't want Erika, my partner/daughter to get discouraged.  Thanks in advance.

    Help!

    Okay...I know I'm not so smart when it comes to computers..Disappointed .but I am having trouble cut and paste or copy and paste my weight loss ticker.  ConfusedI go to ticker factory and do my ticker and do wha t it says and all and it don't work. Baring teeth  Can someone help me,please?   Thankls

     Good Morning New friends.  Today is gonna be a great day!  Although my body is sore from the Power Scuulpt DVD workout.  I feel good.  Today is Cardio today and I have encouraged my son to join in.  So we are gonna have a cardio party tonight consisting of sweat  and water...lol....Well it is half way through the week.  My weigh in is Friday and I am not loking forward to any disappointments.  I'm  sure that all you "LOSER'S" in this challenge are doing just great. Let's all kick some butt.  Til later........

    The tough gets going

    Holey smokin....working out is a BITCH!  I just added a 40 minute ifit weight loss program on my treadmill to add to the Biggest Loser DVD workouts. that I am already doing.   Got to say ganing the weight was so much pleasureable than to lose this fricken weight, as I love to eat.  Don't we all.  I just trying to tell myself eas to survive and not to eat just because it looks, feels and taste good...  With only into the 4th week it is time to step it up.  So I am adding this to my weekly routine.  At least 4 times a week.   Well today is Tuesday , Friday is weigh in and I hope to see them scales decline more than 1 or 2 pounds.

    Biggest Loser Match up/ Week 3

    Well, I made to week 3.  It has been the week from Hell.  Angry  Under extreme stress and some very difficult problems and no exercising ( bad me) I was able to loose 1 pound. Yeah I did it! 1 more pound outta here, gone forever. for a total loss of 5 pounds in 3 weeks. Smile I was very surprised when I weighed in.  I really thought that I would have gained some weight as I was not focused on diet nor exercising.  Although I did lose a pound, I'm sure that it I really stuck completely to my diet and exercise I would have seen a larger weight loss, (or not) but I know that I did choose healthier and lower caloric foods to snack on. Portion size etc.  So I am learning. upon writing this my partner here in crime...The match-up...to be exact.. has not yet weighed in.  I am hoping she has lost this week. As my favorite quote goes....Turn the Page..go forward and finish what you started...get over it! Tends to haunt me and I got to say...I'm glad it does.

    Biggest Loser...2 weeks in!

    So it has been two weeks into The Biggest Loser Million Dollar Matchup. I am so proud to report that I have lost 2lbs. this week.  This gives me a total for the 2 weeks of 4 lbs gone forever out of here, gone!!  Yahoo!!  I feel good!!.  I thought that the screw up last week with the pizza and cookie would have hurt me, shucks if may have, but i did loose and that's what counts.  This week when desire or temptation came knocking  I have some sugar free jello and fat free whip cream with just a total of 15 calories.  That indeed took care of the cravings.  So onward I go.  I open my arms fully to week 3. Come on baby lets go. Plus for added attraction, I did my workouts with Bob and Jillian, their marvelous DVD , for 4 days, oops I did miss day, don't shoot me ... I did walk 3.5 MPH  on the treadmill for at least 30 minutes a day. everyday. So this is what I have done for me Lately, what had made me feel good. Wink Sounds like the opening of the BL show. okay now it's your turn Erika.  What have you done lately that made you feel good?  Erika, if you don't know ,Smile is my Million Dollar Match up Partner.

    Desire took CONTROL!

    Oh my gosh!!! I gave into desire last night.  Sugarplums!! Damn it!   I ate 3 slices of Papa John's Pizza.  Ouch! and to top that off, I ate a chocolate chip cookie.  What the hell was I thinking of/and doing.    I just lost 2 lbs.   What gives me the right to eat that junk?   That fricken temptation.....God, I hate temptation!  I have to thank Eve for temptation.  No Thank you.  Okay, Okay, now that I got that out of my system, I will "Turn the Page" and go forward and finish what I started. "Get over it"  Get back on the track TODAY, this minute.  you know writing this down makes me feel better.  See Ya

    One Week in! Biggest Loser

    Well it has been a week on this Challenge.  Today it is Friday and it is my weigh in.  I lost 2 lbs.  Yipee!  I have exercised for 5 days.  And have been staying within 1200 calories a day. Drinking plenty af water, ( 8 to 10 8oz glasses daily) and pissing my butt off everytime I turn around.  The toliet has become my new best friend.  LOL  I will be just dong some walking this week-end. But on Monday back to the DVD Biggest Loser workouts.  I have to tell you both Bob and Jillian work you ass off.  I have one more week then I move up to weeks 3 and 4.  I also have to report that my partner (Erika) has lost 2 lbs .  So that brings our team total to a whopping lost of 4 lbs. in one week.  We are off to a good start.

    Essay Biggest Loser

    I hope this is where this goes.  Here goes.  Why am I doing this.  Starting with a fricken weight gain over the Hoildays.  Starting weight here is 171.  Yuck. Because I have been on a roller coaster to loose weight for some time.  Dang, I got to admit this , it was a long time, years to be exact.   Last year, Christmas to be exact, my kids, I have 4, bought me a treadmill. Ever since that day in 2007, Jan. I have been working out.  I am 51 yrs old and felt like I was 100.  So I was kidding myself that I could eat whatever I wanted and exercise and I would loose weight.  No no No it doesn't work that way.  So I joined NS in March of 2007 and did loose 40 lbs. I did learn portion contol and the right carbs and such.  But I was getting tried of the cost.  My daughter had moved away from home after she graduated from college.   She moved out of state and she had put on some ugly pounds herself.  So I thought that this would be the best opportunity to help her and myself.  By joining the Biggest Looser Matchup because it is one of my favortie shows.  With health problems that run in our family, High blood pressure, diabetes, lung dieases, heart conditions etc.  it is very unhealtly to have excess baggage (fat) hanging around the mid-section or anywhere to be right to the point.  I was happy to say that my daughter finally watched a episode of the Biggest Loser  actually it was at the end of last season that my daughter started  to watch the biggest looser and she enjoyed the show.  She continued to watch The Biggest Loser this season and when the announcement was made...low and behold, we were on the same page and called each other to join this Match up on the Biggest Loser. What better way to have a mother and daughter team up and loose weight together. Get healthy and look and feel beautiful as we are.  Erika if you are reading this....Great job girl.  We will do this and maintain a good and healthy lifestyles from this point on. Eat the right portions, limit the calories and most importantly be healthy and fit.  With hard work , eating properly and having the support of a teamate we will do this!   Yes!  We are on our way girl.
    Why Do we Team Slip-n-Slide deserve to win?  We deserve to win because I (Robin) have lost weight.  I am on a plateau.  I can't seem to blow this dang plateau.  I am STUCK......STOPPED... I need to have a traineer so that I wil be shown the proper way to exercise , if I am exercsing at my target heart rate and to tell me what the heck I may be doing wrong.  As for Erika, my daughter, my partner, she needs and deserves a trainner because she really needs someone to get in her face and motivate her, push her.  Just get on her case...someone like Jillian.  I do what I can, over the phone, but it is so hard and I really can't tell if she really takes a mother's advice or what. Team Slip-n-Slide really would benefit from winning this challenge. So what we have started here with the Biggest Loser and MSN, please let us finish with the win.   And the winners are Robin and Erika, mother, daughter team, long distance  team.   Team Slip-n-Slide........No matter what we are winners.  We are beautiful!

    It has almost been a week.  And my daughter and I have been doing the Biggest Loser DVD workouts  The Cardio Max with Bob and the Power Sculpt with Jillian.  My ass is sore.   We have been doing this challenge long distance.   So daily we call each other and confirm that the workout has been done.
